Jessica Allan started her career working for Baker Ross illustrating and designing children’s crafts.

She moved on to work for Wonderbly as a product designer and has since worked in-house for book

publishers such as Penguin Random House and Campbell Macmillan. Jessica has 10 years industry

experience in children’s products, she has designed many toys for Jellycat and has freelanced as a

designer for other toy and craft companies. Her designs are still available to buy online and sold worldwide.

Jessica illustrated her first children’s book ‘The Scruffy Puppy’ for Jellycat in 2018. Since then her illustrations

have been used on other products such as blankets, picture frames and gift sets. She is currently designing

more soft toys and is represented as an illustrator by Plum Pudding agency.
